Lucy J. Harrison 78 of Mantua died Sunday, May 27, 2018. She was born January 2, 1940 in Blooming Rose, WV to Granville A. and Icy Irene (Smith) Vance. Lucy was a member of the Crossroads CMA Church in Shalersville, where she was active in the choir, bell choir and served as a Sunday School Teacher.

She had been a bus driver for 22 years for Crestwood Local Schools. Survivors include her loving daughters Pamela E. (Stanley) Foster, Terri Harrison and Kelly D. (John) Varga, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and siblings Betty Keener and Tom Vance. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clarence in 2013, and siblings Granville Jack Vance, Eugene Staley and Bernie Staley.

Calling hours will be from 6 – 8 PM Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Thursday, May 31, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend David Oreskovic officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Mantua.

In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Renaissance Family Center, 9005 Wil Verne Drive, Windham, OH 44288.
