Richard W. Martin 74 of Kent, formerly of Rootstown, died Friday, May 25, 2018. He was born March 26, 1944 in Ravenna to Clarence S. and Elsie (Riggenbach) Martin. Richard was a member of the Ravenna First United Methodist Church, a US Army veteran and had worked for Hillendale Farms, RB & W and Lawson’s.

Survivors include his daughter Kristen Martin and siblings Mary Kay Mizer, Esther Crabtree and Donald (Jean) Martin. Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of his life will take place at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel.
