In loving memory of Lupe Guerrero Lupe, 96, passed away peacefully on January 16, 2019, with her family by her side. Lupe was born December 30, 1922 in Pasadena, California, Daughter of Isidoro and Egenia Salcido Muniz, and raised by her Uncle and Aunt, Vicente and Josefa Guzman Soto, when she and her siblings were orphaned as very young children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel J. Guerrero, and her eldest son, Richard M. Guerrero.

She is survived by her children, Michael (Una Short), Yolanda Brantnen (Dave), Ernest (Ernie), and John (Andria Prosson); Daughter-in-law, Kanin Kostich, and former Daughter-in-law’s, Colette Luchs and Nancy Unzueta; 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great-grandchildren; Brother-in-law, Edmundo (Mundo) Guerrero; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loved ones. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, January 23rd at 2:30pm at McNerney’s Mortuary Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army Sage House, 138 S. Bandini St., San Pedro, CA 90731, where she received loving support for many years.
