fulkersonsplentywood.com Lynn Rochelle Jacobson was born February 17, 1955 to Owen Jevi and Jean Sylvia (Tangen) Jacobson. She passed away at her home in Grenora, North Dakota on December 3rd, 2018. Lynn was baptized and confirmed at St. Olaf Lutheran Church in Grenora.

She attended Grenora Public School. Lynn spent her childhood on the family farm west of Grenora until her father passed away in 1965. Lynn loved the farm.

In 1969 her mother entered Bethel Home until her death in 1987. Lynn spent the rest of her school years living with her grandmother Julia Tangen, with help from her aunts and uncles, Wallace & Avona Peterson, Jene & JoAnn Trulson and Laurence & Vi Muller. Lynn lived most of her life in Grenora.

She worked at the Dagmar store and the Grenora Café. In 1997 the joy of her life was born ~ Joshua Jevi. Lynn enjoyed attending Joshua’s school functions and Joshua was the light of her life.

They spent many hours at the Grenora Café visiting with customers and helping Joni. Lynn loved to bake. It can be said that many friends and family were the recipients of her kindness as she loved doing for others.

Lynn’s last months were spent with her son Joshua. He would take her for rides, wheel her out to sit in the sun and was her devoted caregiver. Lynn and her family made memories in her last weeks with time spent with a “Cousin’s Day” at the Muller Farm reminiscing.

She also spent a Christmas Baking Day at the Hansen’s with Joni, LeeAnn, Michelle, Miles & Owen Walker, Megan, Molly & Oscar Hansen. Her strength and her faith were with her until the end. She was preceded in death by her patriarchal grandparents: Carl & Clara Jacobson; her matriarchal grandparents Sanford & Julia Tangen; her father Owen (1965); mother Jean (1987); brothers Ronald (1953) and Miles in (1983).

Lynn is survived by her son Joshua as well as Kevin Guenther’s children: Zack, Nick & Amanda. Her sisters Pam Eberle; LeeAnn (Don) Jensen; brother Brad Thomas; uncle & aunt Laurence & Vi Muller; “Sorta Sisters”: Paulette Hall, Laurie Ledahl, Joni Peterson; nieces and nephews: Joe Eberle; Brenda (Daren) Sandstrom; Amber Eberle and her fiancee Russell Kallberg; Michelle & Toby Walker; Megan & Paul Hansen; Devin & Gracie Thomas.
