Machiko “Yoko”‘s Obituary Machiko “Yoko” Kuriowa Brown of Hemphill, Texas passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 in Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital in Nacogdoches, Texas. Machiko was born September 27, 1934 in Fukuoka, Japan. She and her husband, who was in the Navy, lived abroad for 25 years.

She had lived in Sabine County for 15 years. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and she enjoyed playing Bingo, cooking, and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Troy Brown of Hemphill, Texas; daughters, Mary Beth Brown, Karen Aggas and husband, Gary, and Irene Corbett, all of Arlington, Texas; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
