OBITUARY Mae Noemie Barnes January 8, 1919 – October 2, 2018 Mae Noemie Barnes, age 99, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away on Tuesday October 2, 2018. Mae was born January 8, 1919. She was a member of St. Margaret of Scottland Catholic Church.

Mae is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Barnes; parents, Valle and Noemie Scallen; sister, Theda Allen; nephew, Bernard Allen and niece Bernadette Griffiths. Left to cherish her memory are her great niece’s Tammy Turner and husband Tom of Spring TX, Linda Chapman and Robin Griffiths; great nephews, James and Paul Griffiths and many great-great nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be prayed at Hixson Funeral Home on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 10am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret Catholic Church on Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11am. The Very Reverend Marcus Johnson,VF will officiate. Burial to follow at Consolata Cemetery.
