Mamie Ruth Brooks Robinson, age 90 of the Brick Church community, died Thursday, May 24, 2018 at her residence. Ms. Robinson was a native of Lincoln County, Tennessee born April 12, 1928 daughter of the late Eulah Harrison and Mary Gilliam Brooks. She was retired from the Tennessean Truck Stop where she cooked many meals over the years.

She was a member of the Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Robinson in 2013 and two brothers, Johnny Brooks and Wilson Brooks. She is survived by two sons, Jerry Hunt of Brick Church, and Steve Robinson of Millington, two daughters, Linda Kay Isaacs of Portland, and Shelia Brasher of Brick Church, two brothers, Roy Brooks of Petersburg, and Lawrence Brooks of Elora, one sister, Martha Bradford of Fayetteville, six grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted by Jimmy Jean Sunday, May 27, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Cornersville Funeral Home with burial to follow in Beechwood Cemetery. The family will be at Cornersville Funeral Home Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral hour for visitation. Cornersville Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
