Obituary for Margaret E. “Marge” Gemas Margaret E. “Marge” Willard Gemas, 79, of Connellsville passed away unexpectedly Mon. Nov. 12, 2018 at her home.
She was born Dec. 3, 1938 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Charles Arthur and Mary Pauline Ploof Willard. Marge had formerly worked as a waitress/cook for Bud Murphy’s Restaurant in Connellsville.
Marge will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving family, her husband of 39 years Robert A. Gemas, her children Michele Lint and husband Larry , Frank Stadolnik, and Margaret Porterfield and husband Pete all of Connellsville, and Rose Valeri of Florida, her step daughter Diana Gemas of Rochester, MN. , her 12 grandchildren, her 3 step grandchildren, her 21 great grandchildren,and her 2 Step great grandchildren. Marge was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
In addition to her parents Marge was predeceased by a son Charles Stadolnik, and her brothers Charles and Fred Willard. Family and friends will be received Wed. from 6-8 PM and Thur.
from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 111 E. Green St. Connellsville (724-628-1430) where a Funeral Blessing Service will be held Fri. at 10:00. A committal service and interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be given to the American Diabetes Association, 300 Penn Center Blvd. , Suite 602, Pittsburgh, PA. 15235, in memory of Margaret E. Gemas.
