Margaret Duggan Morton, age 92 of Lewisburg, died Sunday, April 29, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Morton, better known as Muddy, was a native of Marshall County, Tennessee born May 24, 1925 daughter of Lush and Una Mae Stewart Duggan. She retired from Faber Castell Corporation after several years of employment.

She was a member of Church Street Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee Morton, four sons, Thomas Lee, Don, Randy, and Tim Morton, three grandsons, Phillip, Scotty, and Brian Morton, and one great, great, grandson, Gunner McRae. She is survived by two daughters, Bettye Farler and Janice Anderson and son-in-law, Teddy.

She was blessed with twenty grandchildren, thirty–one great grandchildren, and seven great, great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted by Tony Lancaster Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of London Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Berea Cemetery at Verona. The family will be at London Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour for visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Church Street Church of Christ or the Berea cemetery. London Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
