Margareth M. “Margy” Oglesby February 17, 1924 – October 26, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Sympathy Gifts View/Sign Guest Book| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Margareth M. “Margy” Oglesby, 94, of 421 Second Avenue in Johnsonburg, died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, at Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Marys, following a brief illness, and went to heaven to play with the angels in her dreams. Born on Feb.

17, 1924, in Johnsonburg, she was the daughter of Gustave and Marie M. Roscher Kriegisch. Margy resided in Johnsonburg all her life; she graduated from Johnsonburg High School in 1944, and was a member of the Holy Rosary Church. She enjoyed sewing, drawing, and quilting.

She was member of the Cursillo Movement and had been a PEER Councilor at Elk Haven Nursing Home. Margy retired in 1988 from St. Marys Hospital Extended are Facility (now Pinecrest Manor) after 15 years as a receptionist. She had also worked as a legal and medical secretary, and had worked at Stockpole Carbon Co. and Penntech Papers for 10 years, as well as working as a seamstress for many years.

She is survived by one daughter, Augustine Oglesby of Johnsonburg; and one son, C. Ray Oglesby and his wife, Kim, of Harrisburg; two grandchildren, Raina (Mrs. Anthony Kokoskie) and Derek Oglesby; and one great-grandson, Vitale Sydney Kokoskie. Along with her parents, Margy was predeceased by two sisters, Theresa Paget and Helen Mills and two brothers, Leonard and Robert Kriegisch. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg on Monday, Oct.

29, at 10 a.m. with Rev. David Wilson, pastor, officiating. Burial will be at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg.

Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home at 401 Chestnut Street in Johnsonsonburg on Sunday, Oct. 28, from 3 to 5 p.m. If desired, memorial contributions should be made to the Elk Haven Nursing Home Activity Fund, 785 Johnsonburg Road, St. Marys PA 15857 or the Johnsonburg Senior Center, 430 Center Street, Johnsonburg PA 15845.
