Margaret V. Evans, 88, of Owensboro, died on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born June 28, 1930 in Daviess County, KY to the late J.W. “Gene” and Alice Stinnett Vincent. She retired from General Electric and MPD and was the treasurer for Owensboro Saddle Horse Association for many years.

Margaret was a 1948 graduate of West Louisville High School and a member of Brushy Fork Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and going to prayer meetings. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd C. Evans in 2000; son, Phillip Marty Evans in 1972; and her sisters, Dorothy Vincent and Velma Knott.

Survivors include a granddaughter, Holly King; two step-grandchildren, John Yager (Elizabeth) and Tony Yager; three great-grandsons, Phillip Preston King (Heather), Jordan King and Nolan King; one great-great-grandson, Cooper Preston King; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow in Brushy Fork Church Cemetery.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Dream Riders, 5760 Highway 60 West, Utica, KY 42376.
