Charabowski, Marianne Jakubowski Charabowski, age 93, of Stratford, beloved wife of the late Frank G. Charabowski, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2018 in Atria Senior Living in Stratford with loving family by her side. Marianne was born on July 28, 1925 in Sherman, CT and was the daughter of the late Ignatz and Marianna Rembecka Jakubowski. She employed as a secretary for Eastern Electric Company for many years, was a founding member and active church member at St. Joseph’s National Church in Stratford and also served as Treasurer for the church.

Marianne is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and godchildren, Cindy Baxter and John Roy. In addition to her beloved husband Frank, Marianne was also predeceased by one son, George R. Charabowski, one brother and four sisters. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 10:00 AM Directly in St. Joseph’s National Catholic Church of Stratford, 1300 Stratford Road, Stratford officiated by Rev.

Thomas Walsh. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the Galello-Luchansky Funeral Home, 2220 Main Street, Stratford on Wednesday from 4:00 – 7:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, those who so desire may contribute in Marianne’s memory to St. Joseph’s National Catholic Church of Stratford, 1300 Stratford Road, Stratford.
