Obituary for Marilyn Wilson Marilyn (Husk) Wilson, 89, of Evansville, passed away at Signature Health Care of Newburgh on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Marilyn was born April 23, 1929 in Evansville, to the late Ollie and Ruth Husk. Marilyn was an avid reader and a professional piano player.

She received her Bronze Life Master of American Contract Bridge League. She loved living in Daytona Beach and recently moved back to Evansville at The Atria Assisted Living and Signature Health Care Facility. Marilyn is survived by her sons, Paul (Janie) Buttrum of Evansville and Nathaniel “Ty” (Susan) Buttrum of Boonville; grandchildren, Carol, Jennifer, and Justin Tanner; several great grandchildren.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Dr. Ralph Wilson; son, Mel Buttrum; brother, Jim Husk. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 10:00 am Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Fairmont Cemetery Chapel, 1807 Green Street, Henderson, KY, a funeral service will begin at 10:00 am. Burial will be at Fairmont Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the University of Evansville, Music Department, Room 133 Krannert Hall of Art and Music, 1800 Lincoln Ave. The family would like to thank the staff at Atria Assisted Living and Signature Health Care of Newburgh for their kind and compassionate care.
