Marion Lee King, 77, passed away July 12th, 2018 at Prestige Care from a long time battle with kidney disease. Born September 19, 1940 in Grant, Michigan to Forrest and Helen King, he was a ‘Jack of all Trades’. An avid hunter, fisherman, gold miner and artist, he built his own mining equipment, fixed things that were broken, and found whatever it was you needed.

He was always trying to help those around him. He loved to be around his family, especially his kids and grandchildren. Holiday and special occasion dinners were hosted by him, he was an awesome cook and his food remembered my many.

Everyone was welcome, friends were family too. There were many stories and adventures he liked to share, which never got old or boring, no matter how many times you heard them. If you needed someone to talk to, he was waiting with a pot of coffee and a smile.

He was loved by many, will be greatly missed and never forgotten, he was an amazing man. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law: Forrest Jr and Gladys King, children: Denise King, Annette and Joe Williams, Charlene Burns, Chris and Marian King, Chad King, Chet King, Michelle King, Barbara and Jeff Holley, grandchildren: Christina Shanks, Jessica Williams, Miranda Stadler, Tabitha Mezeske, Ashley and Nick Williams, Jay and Malcolm Burns, Christina and Logan King, Drake King, Chance and Chase King, Jonathan, Vivian and Violet Robinson, Sage Owens, Joseph King, Jordan Busch, Allison Smith, Marie Ingle, Trenton King, and many great grandchildren. Close family friend, Kathy Hoffman.

Marion was preceded in death by his parents: Forrest and Helen King, his wife Aggie Rae Nickolai, son, Robert Wilson Allowan and driving companion Sally.
