Frank W. Alward, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away due to medical complications. A service to honor Frank will be held at 1:00 pm in the home of his mother, Marlise Alward, on Sunday, July 15, 2018; 5595 S. Garrett Drive, Big Lake, Alaska. We will plant a tree in his honor and share memories of him.

Frank was born August 17, 1967 in St Petersburg, Florida to Frank and Marlise (Jenni) Alward. Frank was employed at Alaska Native Medical Center here in Anchorage; a job he enjoyed due to his co-workers. Frank was a movie buff and his favorite thing to do was spend time with family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Marlise Alward, of Big Lake, AK; his sisters, Karen Cowles, Bonnie Lilley, Wendy Alward and his brothers, Peter Alward and Eric Alward. He was also survived by his niece and nephews, Amalia Raemy, Cameron and Christian Cowles, and Garrett Lilley. Frank brought smiles to whomever he met.

Kind, caring, and loving to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. In Lieu of flowers, be kind to those around you.
