She was born in Hilo, Hawaii on May 23, 1938 and was an employee of the Volcano House, Naniloa Hotel and former Orchid Isle Hotel in Hilo. Visitation will be held at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo on February 20, 2019 (Wednesday) from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; wake service will begin at 6:00 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo (43 Kapiolani Street) on February 21, 2019 (Thursday) from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.; funeral mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the Homelani Memorial Park in Hilo, Hawaii.

Casual attire is requested. She is survived by sisters, Lynette Rodrigues of Hilo and Theola Kuamoo of Mililani; sister-in-law, Arlene Kaaumoana of Hilo; numerous nephews and nieces.
