She was born on November 6, 1924 in Waimea. She was a former telephone operator at Pearl Harbor and the Hawaiian Telephone Company in Waimea; a janitorial maintenance worker of the U.S. Postal Service and Waimea Medical Center; and a retired school bus driver for Ryusaki Corporation.

She was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Waimea 1st Ward. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday (Feb. 23, 2019) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Waimea; Funeral Service at 11:30 a.m.; burial to follow at the Lindsey Family Plot.

Casual attire. Survived by, daughters, Laranette (Joseph) Kuahine of Oahu and Leatrice Lindsey of Hilo; sons, Lambert (Debbie) Lindsey of Minnesota, Charlie (Erin) Lindsey of Waimea and Fred (Amber) Lindsey, Jr. of Washington; brothers, David (Gwen) Bell, Jr. of Oahu, Robert (Leslie) Bell of Waimea, Samuel Bell of Waimea and Autry (Holly) Bell of Waimea; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
