Dr. Yoshie Takagi Ohata August 23, 1924 – January 22, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Sympathy Card Dr. Yoshie Takagi Ohata, age 94, of Hilo, Hawaii, died January 22, 2019 in the Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Facility in Hilo, Hawaii. She was born on August 23, 1924 in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey and was a retired Medical Doctor specializing in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics. A private “Celebration of Life” Service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers or Koden (monetary offerings) a donation may be made in memory of Yoshie to Hawaii Care Choices (formerly known as Hospice of Hilo); 1011 Waianuenue Avenue; Hilo, Hawaii 96720. She is survived by, husband, Harold Ohata of Hilo; sons, Steven (Karen) Ohata of Aiea and Michael (Cynthia) Ohata of Oak Park, Illinois; daughters, Ann Ohata, M.D. of Honolulu and Wendy (Tom) Correa of Hilo; five grandsons.
