Lawler (nee Selever), 93. of Elmwood Park, passed away peacefully at Hackensack Medical Center Sunday December 30th, 2018. Born in Passaic, she’s been a resident of Elmwood Park for 71 years.

Marjorie belonged to St. John’s R.O. Church in Passaic,very active at the church and a member of the choir. She was a executive secretary for Pioneer Electronic in Moonachie. She was a past president of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary Post #147, V.F.W. Post #5084 Ladies Auxillary and Elmwood Park Homeowners Association.

Beloved wife of the late Ambrose J., Jr., loving mother of Amborse James and his wife Ellen and Karen Piatek and her husband Frank, proud grandmother of Franklin, Monica and Adam, adoring great grandmother of Franklin Jr. Visiting at the Patrick J. Conte Funeral Home, Inc., 274 Market Street, Elmwood Park. Friday 1/4/2019 from 5 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday 8:30 a.m. (please be prompt) Funeral Liturgy St. John’s Russian Orthodox Church 170 Lexington Avenue, Passaic, N.J. (1 973 473 1928) at 9:30 a.m. Followed by East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton for the burial. Visiting Friday 5 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations are requested for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be appreciated.
