Marlene L. Kuikman, 76, of Beloit, WI, died Saturday, February 9, 2019 in Beloit Memorial Hospital. She was born March 16, 1942 in Granville, IL, the daughter of James and Edith (Almquist) Freebern. Marlene was a 1960 graduate of Granville Illinois High School.

She married Melvin Kuikman in 1963 in Chicago, IL. He predeceased her in 1987. Marlene was formerly employed and retired from Mule-Hide Products a division of ABC Supply.

She was a talented pianist. Marlene was a former member of Calvary Lutheran Church. She was a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church and the Quilting Club.

Marlene was on the board of directors and the past vice president of Beloit Riverfest. Survivors include her daughter, Anne-Marie (Gerard) Dolci of Columbus, OH; grandchildren, Eric Kuikman of Beloit, WI, Nicole Kuikman of Janesville, WI, and Nickolas Dolci of Columbus, OH; great grandson, Jaxon; longtime partner and fiancé, Russell Podzilni of Janesville, WI. She was predeceased by her parents, son Eric Kuikman, and six siblings.

Per Marlene’s request there will be no services. Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, WI, assisted the family.
