Marsha Denise Franks, 65, died Thursday, February 28, 2019. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama. As a child of an Air Force Soldier, she lived and traveled in many places, her favorite being the Philippines.

As an adult, Marsha lived in the Ozarks of Arkansas and the mountains of Colorado before returning to Florence, Alabama. Marsha graduated from Coffee High School, Florence, Alabama in 1972 and attended University of North Alabama where she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi. She was also a member of North Wood United Methodist Church in Florence.

Marsha is preceded in death by her father, Curtis Alfred Franks. She is survived by her mother, Doris Fowler Franks and her brother, Scott (Sally) Franks, two nephews, John Franks and Curtis Franks. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, great-nephews and nieces.

A family memorial service will be held in her memory at a later date.
