Obituary for Marsha Harris Poore Marsha (Harris) Poore, age 65, of Erwin, went home to paradise with her family on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Erwin, Marsha is a daughter of the late Harry and Lela Belle (West) Harris. She retired as a Certified Nurse Assistant and was a member of Erwin First Bible Holiness Church.

The youngest of nine, Marsha was shy, but became more outgoing with age. She was very loyal and was very proud of her grandchildren, who she loved dearly. She enjoyed cooking and riding her motorcycle and loved spoiling her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Marsha is preceded in death by four siblings: Lester Harris, Yvonne Boone, Phillip Harris and Jean Bonar; two great grandchildren: Maddex Patten and Mitchell Patten. Marsha Harris Poore has left behind to cherish her memory: Daughters: Shawna Allen, of Erwin, Angela Poore, of Erwin, Tammy Patten, of Erwin; Son: David Hampton; Grandchildren: Lela Webb, Calib Webb, Cody Yelton, William Poore, Allen Patten, Brandon Patten, Robbie Patten, Michael Patten, Christopher Hampton, Hunter Hampton, Summer Hampton, Makenzie Huskins, Logan Hampton; Great Grandchildren: Gabriel Patten, Emily Patten, Travis Patten, Aubri Patten, Levi Patten; Brothers: Bil Harrisl, Dewey “Duke” Harris, Earl Harris, Johnny Harris; Former Sons-in-Law: Mark Yelton, Brian Garreffa; Several nieces and nephews; Several friends whom she considered family. The family respectfully requests the honor of your presence as we offer tribute and remember the life of Marsha Harris Poore in a graveside committal service to be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 in the Martins Creek Cemetery with Reverend Kim Casey officiating.

Those attending the graveside service will meet at Martins Creek Cemetery by 10:50 AM for the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Relay for Life, PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123 Condolences and memories may be shared with the family and viewed at www.
