Martha Dercks, Kaukauna, age 94. Her prayers were answered and she died peacefully on Monday May 28, 2018 at Helen’s House in Darboy. She was born on February 22, 1924 in Kaukauna, WI the daughter of the late Peter and Josephine (Dewild) Micke.

Martha was a terrific wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her greatest joy in life was raising her family. She is survived by her children: Dennis (Patricia) Dercks and their 4 children, Scott, Sara (Scott) Musich, Kimberly, Kristin (John) Smits; William (Patricia) Dercks and their 3 children, Jason (Susan), Tessa, Hannah (Joe) Van Thomme; Barb (Duane) Diedrich and their 3 children, Jennifer (Sal) Vasquez, Amy (Shawn) Promer, Ryan (Angela) and one on the way; George Dercks and his 3 children, Andrew, Emily (Zach) Gohr, and Leah (special friend Chris); Joseph (Gail) and 3 children, Rick, Megan (Rick) Schmoll and Carrie (Joe) Van Daalwyk; Sue (Pete) Hennes and their 2 children, Hailey (Sean) Glaser and Nathan; Dan Dercks and his 2 stepchildren, Holly (Jack) Calandros and Tommy Hofacker; 24 great-grandchildren with one on the way; brother and sisters-in-law: Kenneth (Carol) Micke, Del Micke and Joyce Micke; 3 sisters: Evelyn Peer, Rosie Johnson and Joanne Verkuilen; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1989, 2 sons: Richard and James, 3 brothers: Pete, Harold and Clarence, 2 sisters: Stephana Ziesmer and Lorraine Stebane. Funeral Services for Martha will be at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 309 Desnoyer St., Kaukauna. Friends may call directly at church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

Burial will take place in the parish cemetery. Boettcher Family Funeral Home, Kaukauna is assisting the family. (920) 766-2099 www.
