Obituary for Marvin Earl Donovan Marv was born to Eola Mae (Watkins) Donovan and Daniel Earl Donovan on December 6, 1926 at Chapman, Nebraska. Marv and his family moved to Denver in the early 40s, where he graduated from West High School. Marv proudly served in the U. S. Merchant Marines at the end of WWII in the Pacific and he was enlisted in the US Navy during the Korean War.

Marv married Norma Helen Lulow in Denver in 1951 and they had two sons, Mark Donovan (Brian Greffe) of Denver and Patrick Donovan (Patricia Luithle) of Puyallup, Washington. Marv and Norma later divorced in 1991. Marv is survived by both sons, and Patrick’s sons, Ryan Neil Donovan and Connor Joel Donovan, both of Portland, Oregon.

Marv worked in the wholesale meat industry before retiring as the Southern California branch manager for Bar-S Foods. Marv moved back to Denver and lived his last years at the Village at Lowry. Marv was an avid golfer.
