Following his service in the United States Air Force, he made a career as an electrician. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Ellen Jones. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Donna Jones; daughters, Amber Jones and Shelby Jones; grandchildren, Elora Mosel and Brinley Jones.
