Mike was born on October 9, 1963 in San Antonio, Texas to James Nelson Werner and Peggy O’Neil (De Atley) Werner. He is preceded in death by his father; maternal grandmother, Hazel M. De Atley; paternal grandparents, S.C. and Edna Mae Werner; niece, Amy Michelle Werner; and brother-in-law, Keith Allen Braden.

He will be dearly missed by his mother, Peggy Werner; brothers, Jimmy Werner (Susan), and Jeff Werner; sister, Deborah Braden; aunt, Sudie Chambers; uncle, Carrol Werner (June); and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends. A visitation will be held Friday, August 3, 2018, 9:00am-10:00am at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia. FUNERAL SERVICE Friday, August 3, 2018 10:00am Finch Funeral Chapel, La Vernia Burial will follow at Sutherland Springs Cemetery in Sutherland Springs, Texas.
