Diane was born on April 5, 1952 in Haskell, Texas to Bertram Loyd Ward and Marion Hazel (Whitmire) Ward. Diane is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Patricia and Dion; and brothers, Charlie, Witzel, and Norman.
Diane will be dearly missed by her husband, David Martinez; children, Brian Deeds and wife Jennifer, Johnny Deeds and wife Anna, Marisa Standridge and husband Chris, David Martinez II and wife Olvia, and Daniel Martinez; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Carleigh, Cooper, Carter, Camree, Elena, Lily, Carl, Mateo, Isai, and Madeline; brothers, Gayle Ward, Mike Ward, and John Ward; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018, 10:00am-11:00am at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.
