Obituary for MARY ANNE (MYERS) BARDOU Mary Anne (Myers) Bardou, 68, of Solvay, passed away peacefully Sunday at Crouse Hospital with family by her side. She was born in Olean to the late Harold and Giovanna (Patricelli) Myers August 20, 1949. Mary was a longtime resident of Syracuse.

Mary Anne, lovingly referred to as “Mare”, worked in the restaurant business her pre-retirement years and later as a Teacher’s Assistant at Solvay High School, where she was beloved by many students and faculty. Mary Anne took many into her home and under her wing, and made all feel like a part of the family and loved. Everyone who’s life she touched loved her.

Her greatest joy in life was raising her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Peter T. Bardou, her daughter; Lisa Bardou, son; Peter M. (Mary) Bardou, her 3 grandchildren; Sydney, Evelyn and Chandler, her brother; Lawrence W. Myers, sister; Elizabeth “Betty” Vogelsang and many nieces and nephews. Services are private.
