Mary Ellen Bansbach May 3, 1936 – December 25, 2018 Mary Ellen Bansbach, 82 of Carteret passed away on Tuesday, December 25, 2018 at her home. Born in Pennsylvania, Mary Ellen resided in Carteret for the last 53 years where she raised her family. She was a devoted member of St. Joseph R.C Church in Carteret and was a homemaker.

Mary Ellen was a loving mother and grandmother who was dedicated to her family. She will be deeply missed. Mary Ellen was predeceased by her husband in 2007, Frederick Bansbach.

Surviving are her children, Laura Zullo and her husband Kevin, Douglas Bansbach, Carol Hogan and her husband Daniel. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Nicole LaMarca and her husband Steve, Matthew Zullo, Thomas and Carly Bansbach, David and Jenna Hogan; great grandson, Benjamin LaMarca and her sister Ann Smith. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 11am at St. Joseph R.C. Church in Carteret.

Cremation will be private. Funeral services are under the direction of Chubenko Funeral Home, 625 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading.
