Mary’s Obituary Mary Ellen Johnson Scott, 66, of Pampa, passed away March 27, 2019 in Pampa. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 30, 2019, at Fairview Cemetery, with Pastor Norman Rushing of Central Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mary was born October 1, 1952 in Pampa to Aline and Delbert Johnson, who was a lifelong resident of Pampa. She was reared in Pampa, attended Pampa schools and graduated from Pampa High School. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.

Some of Mary’s interests were reading and crocheting, and she was an avid animal lover. Mary will be remembered as a caring and giving woman who had never met a stranger. Her door was always open to others.

She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donnie Johnson; her maternal grandmother, Stella Everett; an uncle, Eric Driggers; and an aunt, Neomi Driggers. Survivors include two sisters, Patty Harlan of Pampa, and Linda Gauthier of Waco; four nieces, Monica Cook of Amarillo, Christy Ragan of Pampa, Candace Hataway and husband Dennis of Hewlett, and Mary Ann Gonzalez of Pampa; three nephews, David Mack and wife Sarah of Texas, Walter Mack and wife Shayla of Mount Pleasant, and John Driggers of Pampa; and numerous great nieces, great nephews and extended family.
