Mary Frances, 91, was the daughter of Paul E. George and Clara Cornwell George, of Purcellville. A lifelong resident of the Purcellville area, she is preceded in death by her husband Thomas Hancock, her sisters Lorraine George Morris and Lois “Bobbie” Rhodes, all of Purcellville.

She is survived by cousins Robert (Ruth) Cornwell of Lovettsville and Shirley (Jim) Layman of Purcellville and her great nephew Wayne Atkins. Visitation will be held at Hall Funeral Home on Saturday, February 23 from 1-2 pm. The funeral will follow immediately at 2pm.

Interment will be at Hillsboro immediately after the service. In lieu of flowers, consider a gift to Capital Caring Adler Center, 24419 Millstream Dr., Aldie, VA 20105.
