Mary’s Obituary Mary M. Sirianni Jelsomine, 91, of Charleston, went to be with the lord on Saturday, March 23, 2019. Mary was a longtime resident of Charleston and worked at Charleston High School for 25 years as the Head Cook from 1967 to 1992. She loved her job so much and made the best Italian yeast rolls ever.

Mary raised her 2 daughters as a single parent after her husband, James, passed away in 1967. Mary loved working outdoors in her yard trimming hedges, cutting grass and soaking up sun. In addition to her husband, James Jelsomine, she was preceded in death by her parents, Toney and Ottavia Sirianni; siblings, John Sirianni (May), Albert Sirianni, Toney Sirianni (Irma), Fred Sirianni (Ada), Alonzo Sirianni (Conchetta), and Jeanette Stanley (Bill).

She is survived by her brother, Frank O. Sirianni (Connie); children, Santina Marie Ward and Teresa Ann Morgan (Donald); grandchildren, Ronald Lee Ward II (Tara), Tony James Ward (Melissa), Christopher James Morgan (Cassandra), and John Anthony Morgan (Emilee); great grandchildren, Kristin and Michael Ward; and sister-in-law, Catherine Sirianni. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 28 at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
