Obituary for Mary Louise Joos Mary Louise Joos, 77, of Summerville, wife of the late Ernest Joos, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 6 o’clock to 7 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 7 o’clock.

Burial will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Mary was born on November 16, 1941 in Sumter, SC, daughter of the late Roland and Ruth Grooms.

Survivors include: two sons: David M. Joos (Sandra) of Sumter and William M. Joos (Jacqueline) of Ladson; five grandchildren: Michael Joos (Kerrie), Brandon Joos, Aaron Joos (Delisa), Amanda Jennings (Randell) and Katherine; three great grandchildren: one sister: Samantha Mullins; one brother: Joseph Grooms (Sandy). She was predeceased by one daughter: Deborah Mae Joos and three brothers: John Grooms, Jimmy Grooms and Sonnie man Grooms A memorial message may be written to the family by visiting our website at www. jamesadyal.com.
