Mary Ruth ton Harless, age 70 of West Jefferson, died Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Margate Health and Rehab Center. Mrs. Harless was born July 31, 1947 in Honaker, VA to the late Rev. Cal and Lillian Gibson ton.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Allen Harless, infant son, Joseph Harless, son, Brian Keith Harless and brother, James David ton. Mary was a faithful member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

She loved to visit and spend time with her family. She loved her dog “Baby” and going to yard sales. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, June 22, 2018 at Badger Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Derrick Hodges.

Burial will follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 – 11AM prior to the service. Mrs. Harless is survived by her brother, Wade ton of Myrtle Beach, SC, 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
