Marylee Frances Keays, 85, of South Bend, IN passed away at 11:48 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Hospice House. She was born on July 20, 1933 in South Bend, IN, to the late George and Ethel ( ) Schmidt. On June 28, 1985 in South Bend, IN she married Howard Keays who preceded her in death on July 3, 2006.

Marylee is survived by her daughters, Jeanie (Skip) Yoder of South Bend, IN, Mary (Tim) Spite of Mishawaka, IN and Lauralee (Chuck) Keays-Deshner of Leesburg, FL; daughter-in-law, Lori Gaby of Keller, TX, ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Mike Gaby and brother, Fred Schmidt. Marylee was a lifelong resident of South Bend.

She wintered in Florida for fifteen years. She was an insurance adjuster for All State Insurance Company. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Chapel at St. Paul Retirement Community, 3602 S. Ironwood Drive, South Bend, IN.

Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel is assisting the family.
