Betty J. Hagedorn, 87, residing in South Bend, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018. She was born December 25, 1930 to John and Beverly (Hickman) Manchow in South Bend, both who have preceded her in death. On March 7, 1953 she married Richard Kruk who passed away on July 21, 1978.

She remarried on February 13, 1989 to Thomas Hagedorn who preceded her in death on February 8, 2016. Betty retired after 25 years from South Bend Public Library where she worked as an administrative clerk. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Harland) Stanley and son Richard A. (Marie) Kruk; granddaughter, Melissa Kruk and two great-grandchildren, Kierra and Kyana Watford.

Betty is preceded in death by her son John C. Kruk and brother, Edward Manchow. Private services will be held by the family. Palmer Funeral Home – River Park is assisting the family with arrangements.
