Patricia A. Graham, 84 of Lakeville, IN; passed away on Thursday, November 15 at St. Paul’s Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in South Bend, IN She was born July 29, 1934 in South Bend, IN to the late Walter and Florence (Kulp) Abbiehl. On April 15, 1956 in Woodland, IN she married Paul R. Graham (preceded in death March 13, 2015. Also Surviving is a daughter, Janet Graham of South Bend, IN and a son James (Susan) Graham of Berrien Springs, MI.

Also surviving are her granddaughter, Stacey Graham-Warner and great-granddaughter, Stormey Graham (Scarlet Searer): all of Mishawaka, IN. Her siblings include: Lois Frick of Hugo, MN, Alma McClelland of Edwardsburg, MI. Janet Holderbaum (Clifford) of Mishawaka, IN and Mary Holderbaum (Marvin) and sister-in-law Geneva Abbiehl Mishawaka, IN and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

Pat was also honored to call all of Paul’s family her own and enjoyed being with them. Pat was preceded in death by husband Paul, a son, Patrick and 2 siblings, Leroy Abbiehl and Carol Vandygriff and brother-in-laws, John (Bill) Frick, Ken Vandygriff and Larry McClelland. Mrs. Graham retired from the trucking logistics industry.

Previous to that she worked for Old Fort Supply and the Studebaker Corporation. Patricia was a hard worker that always had a smile and kind words for all she met. Always the first to offer help of meals and transportation to her extended family.

She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Woodland, IN and on the board of directors for the St. Joseph County AARP Chapter. Patricia was a proud Mother, Grandma and Great-Grandmother that loved stay busy and being with her family and friends. The family wishes to thank St. Paul’s Retirement Community for the friendships, loving care and kindness they gave to Patricia and the entire family.

Memorial services will be held at 11 am on Friday, November 30, 2018 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church-Woodland 15697 New Rd. , Mishawaka, IN 46544, where the family will receive guests one hour prior to services. Companion Interment with her husband Paul will take place at Southlawn Cemetery immediately following the service.

A celebration of her life will take place for all at St. Paul’s Retirement Community on Friday, November 30, 2018 from 6 – 8 pm. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend, Indiana 46614, is in charge of arrangements. The family asks that in lieu of flowers and plants, please continue Patricia’s giving spirit by honoring her memory with gifts to any of her favorite non-profits, including Humane Society of Elkhart County, Riley Children’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House and St. Paul’s Lutheran Church-Woodland.
