Maurine Martin West Maurine Martin West passed away on April 22, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Villa in Salt Lake City. She was born October 30, 1926 in Ogden to William and Alice Tippets Martin. She married Robert F. West, they later divorced.

She was a member of the LDS Church and was active in the Relief Society and Primary. Maurine was a member of the Sweet Adelines for 25 years and sang all around the US and made a special appearance with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends and cooking, her buffet was written up in the Standard Examiner.

Maurine also enjoyed crafts. Maurine is survived by her children David Martin West, Debra West Coates and Darrel Ray West; 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Lucille Holladay and brother Glen Martin.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Ogden City Cemetery, 20th and Madison (the graveside inside the cemetery is located on the corner of 9th and Center St.) Arrangements entrusted to Myers Ogden Mortuary.
