Mignon Evelyn Summerill Goodell, 84 passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in Brigham City, Utah. Mignon was born August 8, 1934 in Ogden, Utah a daughter of Doris Evelyn Folkman and Lorin Farr Summerill. She graduated from Ogden High School and attended Weber State.

Mignon met and married Robert Archie Goodell October 24, 1956 in Ogden, Utah. She was Christian. Mignon loved to travel around the world, visiting 56 countries, she especially enjoyed cruising to the Caribbean and the Mediterranean.

Mignon enjoyed knitting, crocheting, watching western movies and working at Yellowstone National Park during the summers as a young adult. Surviving are her husband Robert; children: Robert Keith (Terry) Goodell, Honeyville, UT; Curtis Lorin (Shelley) Goodell, Sandy, UT; Colleen Mignon (Uwe) Hale, Bedford, TX; Suzanne Doris (Mark) Sprinkel, West Haven, UT; Julie Evelyn (Glen) Combe, Marriott-Slaterville, UT; 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also, siblings: Norman Summerill, Steven Summerill; Stanley Summerill; Paul Summerill, Lee Summerill and Nancy Torfin.

Preceded in death by her parents and daughter Beverly Jean Goodell. A viewing will be Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00 am at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. Graveside services will be Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 11:30 am in the Tremonton Riverview Cemetery, 175 East 1200 South, Tremonton, UT.
