David Ervin Baird, 65 our husband, father, brother, uncle and friend passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at IMC Medical Center, Murry, UT. David was born September 29, 1953 in Payson, Utah a son of LaVaughn Fawns and Orrin Eldredge Baird. He grew up in Brigham City and graduated from Box Elder High School in 1972.

David served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Australia, Queensland Mission. He had served as the Elders Quorum president. He lived a life of service and encouraging others to give service.

David enjoyed woodworking, remodeling homes, drafting, an avid reader, learning, he loved fishing and camping with his sons, golfing and service to others. He married Wanda Green they had five sons together, they later divorced but remained friends. Wanda passed in 2017.

David married Margie Poplawski on August 20, 2016. Surviving are his sweetheart Margie; sons: Aaron (Addie) Baird; Jon (Carla) Baird; both of Arizona; step-children: Jill (Matt) Nichelson; Troy (Katie) Poplawski; Holly Hively; Ashley Poplawski and Dax Poplawski;11 grandchildren: Harlow, Aila, Lia, Jett, Chloe, Roxi, Emily, Julia, Petra, Teagan, and Clara, brothers: Randall (Debra) Baird, Perry, UT; Richard Baird, Clinton, UT; Mark (Teri) Baird, Waterford, NY; and Gary (Sarah) Baird, Galt, CA. Preceded in death by his parents, sons: Robert, David and Jared.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Brigham City 20th Ward Chapel, 650 Anderson Dr., Brigham City, UT. A viewing will be Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at the Church.
