Danny Joe Seeds June 19, 1936-January 16, 2019 Danny passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, he was born in Enid, Oklahoma to Ellis and Walcie Seeds on June 19, 1936. He moved with his family to Utah as a young boy, he lived in Riverdale, Salt Lake City, Layton and West Point, but he always had a special love for his home state of Oklahoma. He married LaJuana Marlynn Watson on July 7, 1967 in Elko Nevada, their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple on August 7, 1976.

They have celebrated 51 years of marriage together. Danny worked many years in the construction business as a Project Superintendent for Gibbons & Reed, John Price & Howa Construction. He oversaw the construction of many bridges in Weber canyon and the I-15 corridor in his career.

He was respected and admired by all those he worked with throughout the years. Danny had a great love for working on the farm, taking care of his horses and dogs. He had a special love for animals and was a very gentle, loving caretaker.

He spent several years in Riding Clubs where he made lifelong friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family on many camping and hunting adventures. Danny was a simple man, but he always loved sporting a new cowboy hat and cowboy boots.

Danny was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints on May 31, 1962. He was a faithful member, he spent many years coordinating the DI and blood drive for his ward and loved serving as a faithful home teacher. Danny loved to read and study about church history and spent many years doing genealogy work for his loved ones.

Danny was a true friend to all who knew him, whether you ran into him at a bank, a café or a store he always had a story to share. He is survived by his loving wife LaJuana Marlynn, children Curtis (Charlotte) Seeds, Kevin (Sherese) Seeds, Tracie Donaldson, Kathy (John) Terbu, Dawn (Kevin) Nordman, and Jason (Sharla) Seeds, in addition to his 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren (with 1 more on the way) and his sister Bobbie Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents, in-laws, sister and one grandson.

The family would like to express our sincere appreciations to Dr. Vincent Hansen (staff) & Dr Stephanie Olsen for their loving care of Danny over the years. Family and friends are invited to the viewing at Myers Mortuary, 5865 S. 1900 W. Roy on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with a viewing from 12:00 -12:45 p.m. at the LDS Church, 3488 W 300 N West Point. Interment at Syracuse Cemetery.
