Elizabeth Ann Steed Schuenman, 76, returned home to her Heavenly Father on January 7, 2019. She was born in Ogden, Utah to Wilkie and Ruth Steed on July 26, 1942. She was the only girl with 3 brothers.

She attended Ogden City schools and graduated from Weber High School where she was involved in the Pep Club. She then went on to attend Weber College. She married Grant Walker Schuenman in the Salt Lake Temple in 1963 and together had 6 children, 4 boys and 2 girls.

They later divorced. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints her whole life and loved her Savior. She served selflessly in many positions in the church including presidency’s, as a teacher, playing the piano, chorister and ward organist.

She was a very accomplished pianist and organist. She had sat at the organ in church playing for over 50 years. Many enjoyed listening to her beautiful music.

She had quite the talent for making hand quilted baby quilts and made many that were each different and unique. Each person that received one loved it. She was a volunteer of “Project Linus” for many years and had donated over 600 blankets to them who in turn dispersed them to hospitals.

Sewing was a great passion of hers and she could sew anything and everything. She worked for America First Credit Union in Human Res and retired after 20 years of service. Mom loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved to spend time with them.

They all meant the world to her. Her family will miss her very much. She is survived by her 6 children: Gary (Kimber) Schuenman, Clark (Michelle) Schuenman, Diane (Bevan) Paskins, Julie (Todd) Thomas, Brent (LaRee) Schuenman and Adam (Kim) Schuenman.

Her 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Her brothers: Charles (Paula) Steed, Paul (Margaret) Steed and Robert (Debbie) Steed. She is preceded in death by her loving father and mother, Son-in-law Ron Dockstader and 4 grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Sunday, January 13, 2019 from 6-8 pm at the Lakeview Ward building, 4900 S 2000 W in Roy. Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 14, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Lakeview Ward building, with a viewing from 9:45-10:45 prior to the funeral. Interment in the Roy City Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to Myers Mortuary in Roy. The family would like to express a special thanks to moms nurse Dan, her aid Coco, Dianna and all the others from Inspiration Hospice who went above and beyond to care for our mother.
