Jean Earl Olsen, 92 passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2018. Jean was born on July 28, 1926 in Spanish Fork, Utah a daughter of Sarah Alice Lloyd and Harold Lee Earl. She graduated from Ogden High School.

Her family moved a lot with her father’s work. Jean married Ralph August Olsen January 3, 1947 in Ogden, Utah. She worked for Mountain Bell as an operator.

Jean was loving and easy going but she could be stubborn as a rock if she wanted. She was independent and lived a very full and productive life, and really loved her family. Jean enjoyed quilting, reading romance novels and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her son Dennis Lee Olsen; four grandchildren: Jacob (Claudia) Olsen; Sara Olsen; Brandon Olsen; and Dakota Olsen; four great-grandchildren: Bentley, Dax, Taedon, Gage Olsen. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings: Louise Painter and Harold Earl. Special thanks to the staff and nurses at Willow Glen Care Center and all the neighbors and friends that cared about her.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 11, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT. Viewings will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Mortuary. Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.
