MANTUA – Michael Don Jeppsen 68 passed away peacefully in his home on December 28th, 2018. He was born on June 11th, 1950 in Brigham City, Utah, son of Richard N. and Zelma (Payne) Jeppsen. Mike graduated from Box Elder High School class of 1968.

Following graduation, he served an LDS mission in Dallas, Texas. Upon returning home for his mission, he joined the National Guard was promoted as Sargent and worked a short time at Hill Field as a Mechanic, then moved onto Event Organization and Sport Park management in many different cities across the United States before moving back home to Mantua to be close to his 2 sons and family. Mike spent many years on the golf course, looking for matches and making a lot of friends.

Later in his life, his roll turn to supporting his grandchildren in their hobbies as well as helping his parents. He loved to share his passion for mechanics with his nieces and nephews and was always willing to share his knowledge. He is survived by his two sons Corey (Mandy) Jeppsen, Randy (Mindee) Jeppsen.

Father Richard N. Jeppsen. Two brother’s Richard L. (Susan) Jeppsen, Jeffery (Michelle) Jeppsen. Three sisters Susan (Larry) Hull, Nancy (Paul) Baxter and Cindy (Ken) Simcox, and six grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother Zelma Payne Jeppsen and nephews Ryan and Mark Baxter. Funeral service will be Friday, January 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Mantua 1st Ward Chapel, 237 S. Willard Peak Road, Mantua, Utah. Viewings will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, UT and on Friday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church.

Interment will be in the Mantua Cemetery.
