Eileen Geniveve Christensen passed away at her home on January 4, 2019 at the age of 92. She was born December 10, 1926 to Roy B. Shields and Gladys Kummerer Shields. Eileen graduated from Morris Community High School in Illinois, and later attended beauty school in Chicago.

She was a member of the Christian Life Center in Layton, Utah. Eileen married Gerald Dibble in Morris, IL, he passed away in 1973. She then married Jack Chvatal, he passed away in 1986.

Eileen married Harald Christensen. They were married for 30 years before he passed away in 2013. Eileen enjoyed painting and bowling.

Eileen is survived by her four daughters, Dianna Thompson, Donna Ferguson, Linda Sheltra, Lana Turner; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; brother, Richard Shields; daughter, Jackie Chvatal; grandson, Robert, and her 3 husbands. The family would like to thank Hearts for Hospice for the kind care of their mother.

A celebration of life will be on Friday, January 11, 2019 at 1:00 P.M., at Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah. Interment will be at the Evergreen Cemetery You may send the family condolences at www.
