Delbert “Lee” Price February 13, 1933 – January 11, 2019 Delbert “Lee” Price, 85, passed away on January 11, at home surrounded by his loving family. Lee grew up in North Ogden and was proud to be part of the first class to graduate from Weber High School. He also attended Stevens-Henager College.

Lee was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and held the Melchizedek priesthood. Lee married Nelda Graham of Eden on March 4, 1960 and they had three daughters. Lee belonged to the Elks Lodge for 60 years.

He was also a member of the Ogden Pineview Yacht Club for 40 years where he held the positions of Secretary, Vice Commodore, and Commodore and was affectionally called “Mr. Clean” for always having a spotless truck and boat. The family loved spending weekends boating, fishing, and water skiing. Lee adored spending time with his grandchildren watching the “rascals”, giving wheelbarrow rides, and sneaking late-night cookies.

The grandkids thought he was quite a talented stick-figure artist. Lee worked alongside his father and brothers at W.R. White Pipe Company as a professional truck driver for 44 years. Lee is survived by his wife Nelda, three daughters Kim (Scott) Felter, Tracy (James) Threlkeld, and Tara (Todd) John; seven grandchildren Alyx (Steve) Jeppesen, Jordon Felter, Jesse (Amanda) Felter, Parker Siglin, Emily Threlkeld, Rylee John, and Boston John, and five great grandchildren.

He also leaves six siblings James Price, Judy Valdez, Jean Clark, Jerry (Jill) Price, Joyce Price, Jay (Lorie) Price. Lee was preceded in death by his parents “Ott” and Marvel Price, brother Harold Fife, and sister Arlene Price. The family wishes to send a special thank you to Sydney and Tiki of Legacy Healthcare who took such kind, gentle care of Lee in his final days.

A viewing will be held Monday evening, January 14, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. in Ogden. There will be a short viewing at the mortuary on Tuesday morning, January 15, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by graveside services at Ben Lomond Cemetery in North Ogden at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Myers Ogden Mortuary.
