James D. Carver Feb 18, 1933 ~ Jan 11, 2019 A proud and stubborn family has lost its last member. James D. Carver went to meet Jesus. He was first greeted by his Ma and twelve sisters and brothers.

He believed Jesus was all he needed in the next life. His wife Norma and family were by his side constantly when he fell ill. Jim and Norma were married 65 years and from that love came three children, Brad (Vickki), Jill (Pat), Layne (Lisa); grandchildren, Derek (Julie), Stacy (Ryan), Jamie (Dan), Katie, Kyle (Keeley), Kelly (Katie), Taylor, Brian, Erin, Brady.

Great grandchildren; Kaden, Kobe, Skylar, Presley, Keason, Porter, Easton, Kyia, Sadie, Adison, Davis and Aspen. Jim loved each and every member of his family but his many grandchildren owned his heart. He would always ask them who loves you and they all said you do grandpa.

He was a neat person. His blue jeans were ironed with a crease down the middle. His yard was immaculate and everything was always in order or in a plastic bag.

He was a big fan of John Wayne and the old record music. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis H Carver, mother Afton (Ma) and twelve brothers and sisters. His 85 years were full of good times, poor times, happy times and lots of love.

A one of a kind has left us only for a short time. Services are entrusted to Myers Mortuary of Ogden. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday January 15th at 1:00pm at Myers Mortuary 845 Washington, Ogden.

Family and friends will gather together prior to the service starting at 12:00 noon at the mortuary.
