James Morris Bowe James Bowe passed away January 13, 2019 in Ogden, UT. He was born April 22, 1934 to John Emmet Bowe (known as Emmet) and Dorothy Mae (Reck) Bowe in Pillsbury, North Dakota, one of 6 children. Two siblings survive him, Betty and Donald; he was preceded in death by Glen, Mary Ellen, Alta Mae and Dale.

James served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years, including during the Vietnam War. He retired in San Diego CA where he lived for over 40 years before moving with his wife, Shirley, to Ogden, where he lived the remainder of his years. James died 2 days after his 45th year anniversary to his wife Shirley Ann (Lyon) Bowe who survives him.

Also survived by a step-daughter Denise Ann Krenek of Ogden, mother to his grandson Allyn Krenek and granddaughter Kristen Krenek; step-son William Johnson of Georgia, father to his other granddaughter Alexandra Johnson Hammond and 10 nephews and 3 nieces. Services were held Saturday, January 19th at the Valley View Baptist Church. Cremains will be buried in Miramar National Cemetery, CA.
