Glenn Stratford Eldredge North Ogden – Glenn Eldredge, 92, passed away January 15, 2019 in Ogden. He was born September 5, 1926 in Ogden the son of Vernon J and Ardel (Stratford) Eldredge. He graduated from Ogden High and attended Utah State.

He married Lora Christensen on August 5, 1948. He served in the Coast Guard during WWII. He served as State Commander of the VFW from 57-58 and Post Commander for 3 years in a row.

Glenn was Chief Operating Officer of Eldredge Pioneer Enterprises retiring after 30 years. He was an avid reader, writer and poet. He enjoyed water skiing and golf and loved to travel with his family.

He is survived by his wife Lora; children Jeanette Pope (Scott), Cherie Buehler, Christie Hansen (Kirk); 6 grandchildren and his brother Joseph U. Eldredge. He was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law Joe Buehler and brother Vernon Douglas Eldredge. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd.
