Numbers and name tags a million stories grow And Anthony Alvarez, his, I will never let go. Tell me how you find the will to smile after all doors shut in your face, He was AMAZING and this is a waste. Have you ever felt drops of water slide down your cheeks While you float in the air feels like there is no ground underneath?
He floated. As he danced in the rain to no music holding his wife hearts intertwined, He said a lot but said the most without words strumming and playing his favorite sounds for the world. He played guitar in empty warehouses With strangers, sat on porches And strummed all night as they’d beatbox to his music And create songs.
He brought people together when they were coming apart. Just by connecting their hearts to a work of art. His favorite smile was that of his sons Sage.
He fed all the knowledge he could have gave. His smile never bigger than when his sons would cross his face. Pure happiness was the sweetest taste.
He loved FAMILY and that’s what he held so close. His Grandma always on video call laughing watching Sage grow He held a deep love for her that he would always show. He had a sister not labeled as a sister in the books Ashley always stepping when he needed those sister looks Always there to listen or to heal.
His Father was a soldier nonetheless always making sure he straightened up his chest. As he respected his approval as he grew As Father watched his son trying not rule He loved his Father much And his Mother his in touch With her soul through God’s blood They reunite again today in a better world A better place Thanks for making us sing when we wanted to cry From the streets to full busses. Connecting people who will never know why.
